EMANZ Membership
Benefits of Membership
Membership to EMANZ is open to anyone interested in
energy management and the efficient use of energy. EMANZ membership
confers a number of benefits (Membership

- Training & personal development through seminars
- Peer support
- Access to lessons learnt by other practitioners
- Shared cost of information
- Networking
Membership Grades
The membership grades depend on the degree of interest and
involvement that applicants wish to take in energy management and the
affairs of the association.
Full
Anyone who has an interest in energy management e.g. from their
employment or other involvement in the energy industry either
as a provider or a user. Application to be assessed by the Membership
Committee. Applicants require three referees. Full members are
bound by EMANZ Code of
Practice and have voting rights.
Accredited Energy Auditor
An accredited energy auditor is qualified and certificated as
such in accordance with EMANZ accreditation provisions and the
NZ Energy Audit Standard AS/NZS 3598:2000. Procedures to renew Certification (reaccreditations) are currently under review.
Application for this grade is made on the form
associated with the Accreditation procedure. All applications
are assessed by the Accreditation Committee. Members are bound
by EMANZ Code of Practice
and have voting rights.
Corporate
Corporate Membership confers the right for up to 5 Full or Accredited members without requiring these members to pay additional Full or Accredited membership fees. Only one of those nominated members would have voting rights. If any of the additional members require voting rights, they would need to pay additional FULL membership fee. All members are bound by EMANZ Code
of Practice.

Membership Fees
The EMANZ Membership fee for 2007-2008 consists of two parts:
- the IPENZ support service charge of $42.75 (incl. GST) for each member;
- PLUS individual Membership of EMANZ incurs an annual fee of $120 (incl. GST) with Accredited Energy Auditors incurring an annual Membership fee of $180 (incl. GST) and Corporate Membership will start at $530 (incl. GST). To apply for membership please download the individual membership application form or the company membership application form

the list is not to be taken as any form of recommendation or endorsement
by the association of any skills and expertise of those members.
The Association
has established a process to assess energy auditors for the membership
class of Accredited Energy
Auditor. These members are recommended for engagement as energy
auditors. The Association recommends that for other activities users
of the list should make their own reference checks of the capabilities
of members. A list of EMANZ Accredited Energy Auditors is at the
top of the EMANZ Members List.
